Thanks so much for the invite to the breakfast last Friday to see John Anderson speak about Contiki. It was one of the most inspiring and heartfelt accounts I have ever heard of one man’s journey through his business life. He encapsulated lessons in business, such as risk management, marketability, expansion, innovation and leap of faith, and included the irony and humour along the way. His passion was infectious and is no doubt the reason I had dinner with our whole family that night and told them all about it. Thanks so much.

Operating as a Financial Counsellor I encounter many difficult financial situations. Recently I had a client with a complex arrangement that none of the major Banks were willing to help with. His story – ‘Only Two Seats Left’ on how he started the business in the early 60s with a vision, luck and focus was a great lesson for us in business. I must say that John as a speaker was one of the best I have heard in quite a while. The way he connected with the audience and displayed his genuine passion for his former business Contiki was infectious and the ideal way to start a day.
