With almost 60 years combined experience in the banking and finance industry, dynamic husband and wife team Scott and Fiona Roberts know their stuff! And they are not afraid of a challenge either.
Both hailing from traditional commercial sales roles with one of Australia’s leading banks, the innovative couple saw a niche in the market for complicated loans the banks refused to deal with.
“I was with one of the big four for 16 years and then spent four years with one of the largest financial aggregators in Australia,” says Scott. “During that time I saw so many deals fall through the cracks. That’s when I realised there was a big gap in the market for these types of unusual deals that were really outside the square.”
Since starting IBN Private over 10 years ago, Scott and Fiona have built a solid database of over 200 private funders and deal with more than 600 funders in total. The couple’s passion and diligence in helping turn difficult financial situations into profitable outcomes has seen their business undergo exponential growth, placing them as leaders in their field.
